Hello all! This topic will cover the entirety of the different elementary dragons, their physiology, and much more! Each type of dragon belongs to a certain group, region and biome, and are unique in their own way. This is the general guide fir these fellas so if you want a reference for what your character or a character would be like, this will be the place! So without further ado, let's start!

______________________________________________

Earth: The Earth Dragons are by far the largest and physically the strongest on this list, reaching to a whopping 150 or so feet, these colossal, mighty, yet gentle giants are masters of the very Earth itself! Naturally these dragons can breath dust, sand, dirt, and stone, being resistant against dangerous flora such as Nightshade and other extremely poisonous plants. They are also resistant against cold and heat, including attacks from Ice and Fire Dragons, and can even have venomous bites or secrete a mild toxin. They can travel (at max) a good 45mph in the air, being heavy as they are, one can travel only so fast!

Fire: The second largest dragon on this list, the Fire Kin are also some of the fiercest on Cynderice, reaching an upward of 120ft in height, their fiery passion is well known from their home: the Badlands and of course the Volcanic Ashlands. They can spew forth flames of different temperatures an some can even spit globs of magma/lava, even ash, slag, and smog, even coating themselves in either or as of course they are immune to fire and magma! However, oddly enough these entities are still harmed by toxins and poisons. Fire Dragons can travel up to 60mph, which is not bad at all! Naturally Fire Dragons are resistant to Ice Dragon, they are that mixture of good defense and power!

Ice: Being the third largest kind of dragon, reaching up to 110ft, Ice Kin are just as fierce as their fiery brethren, however are much colder and subtle about it. With easily the highest defense thanks to their toughened scales that are harder than ice itself, Ice Dragons are a formidable breed that can breath snow, icy wind, slush, and ice projectiles/breath. Ice Dragons aren't immune to venoms/ailments, however given their chilled bodies it works a lot slower than one might like, when they scratch or bite they can leave behind frostbite! Without fear of freezing, these creatures are very much immune to the icy effects of their biome, they can travel at a whopping 75mph compared to their sluggish cousins.

Light: Next up on the list, Light Dragons are easily the most colorful and possibly the most beautiful of all the Dragons. At good reach of 60ft, these dragons are easily identified if spotted. Their scales are able to refract light and even camouflage, their best ability yet, and they can create hardlight beams/projectiles from their breath; Light Kin can also magnify light to temporarily blind predators/foes for a combat advantage or a quick escape. Light Dragons can fly as fast as 70mph.

Night: These 50 foot Night Dragons are as dark as night, their scales evolves to blend in with their surroundings and above all, the night itself. They have night vision, and can breath a mist that can either slowly poison or lull one to sleep over time, the Night Dragons can also secrete a dangerous toxin and can even imbue venom into their claws, spines, fangs, and other sharp protrusions. Night Dragons are primarily nocturnal, they can fly an upward of 80mph, and are sensitive to sudden light if not acclimated to it properly.

Sea: Sea Dragons are a curious bunch, reaching a height or length of 45 feet, however few individuals have been noted to have such a thing called, "Deep Sea Gigantism," Reaching twice or event thrice their average size, but this is a rare case. Nonetheless, Sea Dragons can breath underwater thanks to built in gills, some even being able to surface thanks to their gills being capable of converting into lungs, they can breath water and scalding water. Ironically, their strength cam be on par with Ice Drsgons despite their size, their whole lives dedicated to swimming has made them powerful physically however that doesn't mean they can travel on land easily. Their scales are extremely tough, and designed to blend in with the seas and rivers, teeth designed to catch fish and Aquatic prey. They can swim at an incredible 75mph, and fly at a decent 50.

Sky: The fastest and most agile of all dragons, the Sky Kin are smaller in comparison to other dragons only reaching up to 35 feet. They can detect changes in the air such as temperature and pressures at the slightest, their senses heightened to a point they can predict the weather with ease, they tend to fly in the middle of mild rain storms abd aren't afraid of the occasional free falling. Quick thinking, Sky Dragons are typically found around mountain peaks and can handle colder temperatures as well, they can breath lightning, fire microbursts, shockwaves, and powerful sound waves like thunder. Thanks to their eyesight too, Sky Dragons have a literal eagle eye for prey at long distances and can coordinate swiftly on how to catch, tending to fly at a good range of 120mph to 150mph if theyvare truly dedicated.

Great: A type of Dragon with no particular element or earthly affinity, Great Dragons compensate for this by being stronger, faster, and much more durable than most others. Reaching to a height of 145ft, and capable of flying at a whopping 65mph, these dragons are instead masters of magic, a wide variety one may add. These are some of the oldest beings on Cynderice and are typically not to be trifled with, some even considering them a "Ruling Class" on their own. It was said that the older these dragons get, the more powerful and magically-attuned they become.
