The World of Cynderice Empty The World of Cynderice

Cyderice is a super world, thrice the size of our Earth we now and love today. The very realm was created by the one Almighty, Sultefeign, the God of Life and Creation, and had made this world of his own image. From his power came the Dragon, the ruling creature born to take many shapes and forms and powers of their own. Then came Man, small but resilient creatures that were born to help balance the world, alongside the flora and fauna that currently exist. Then came all other beasts and creatures to fill the world and make Cynderice beautiful and exotic. And when Mortal Kin sought their prayers to be answered, their stories to come to life, and an afterlife of their choosing, the One Sultifeighn created a pantheon of gods, each one holding an aspect of the plains of existence. The first sect of these gods were known as the Inner Circle, of which shortly after came the Second Central, and much later, the Lower Circle.

The First Born was Maccond, mother of the Fire Kin, Goddess of Fire, and later War and Poetry, and a patron to poets, warriors, and smithies. She is seen as a beautiful entity, her voice boisterous and stern yet holding a hint of softness behind it. Her plain is known as the Suim Àrd, an afterlife for her worshippers that is filled with rotating night and day and endless hills and plains. Maccond holds the title of the God Queen, possessing the mantle of her brothers and sisters governing them, and is considered the strongest of the Inner Circle. Her most devout worshippers will receive a relic known as the, "Teine a Ghlanadh," A powerful flame that immolates all it touches, however anytime it is used, the mortal coil cannot withstand prolonged power as it will consume the life force of one's essence.

The Second Born was Dedena, mother of the Earth Kin, Goddess of Stone, and later of Life and Flora. Dedena is a beautiful and gentle goddess who cherishes her children, a patron to Druids, Spiritualists, and the bygone Dryads of Kiln. Dedena is known for rebirth as well, a singular sin amongst the gods yet a practice amongst mortals, she is said to be banished to the very earth of Cynderice. Her own plain of existence was burnt long ago, and so for the worshippers who've died she cherishes their souls in the Root Kiln, where within it is the expansive and hidden realm of Sean Teach. She reached her worshippers and those who are curious of life, how to live it, and how to cherish it properly, her most devout worshippers are the Nacinnis'Sine Order who protect their land and kin ferociously. Dedena is seen as a failed deity, refusing to force her Earth Children in the Inner Sanctum War and take sides, most gods refer to her as too pacifistic to let live. Dedena was depicted as the largest of the gods, being made of roots, leaves, trees, and various flowers acting as her "scales."

The Third Born was Sare, Father of the Night Kin, God of Death and the Dead, he is the patron to Warlocks, Occultists, and Assassins. Despite his dark displacement amongst the vibrant gods, Sare is a very peaceful and resolute deity who is betrothed to Dedena. He is the most feared entity amongst the pantheon itself, as the land of the dead, Baile an tSuímh, is his realm of refuge.

The Fourth Born was Lina, Mother of the Ice Kin, Goddess of Snow, a brutal competitor of Maccond, she is patron to warlords and raiders, marking herself as a sort of war god. Of course she isn't without reason of war and conquest, as the birth of the Ice Dragons were brutal and bloody, her many worshippers are the clans of the cold regions of Cynderice including the first empire founded by her children. Lys Himmel is the plain of existence in which her worshippers go when they die, a soft and cold haven for warriors and war chiefs alike to cheer and drink and eat and brawl as much as they desire. There are many fractured clans and tribes of Ice Dragons for there to be a specific sect of devouts, however champions chosen by Lina are referred to as the Herje, high powered mortals who are capable of extreme feats and possessing great power. It was said that Lina was the deity to eradicate the many demigods that belonged to those of the Central Circle out of jealousy, sparking the Inner Sanctum War. Lina is depicted as a large dragon comprised of Skall Ice, near indestructible ice that can morph into snow and slush on command, her stern and brutal gaze attract the battle hardened warrior clans.

The Fifth Born was Una, Mother of the Light Kin, Goddess of Light and Time, patron to various monks and truth seekers. When Una created the Light Dragons it was in inspiration to Sare's Night Dragons, creating an opposite people that were coined with them. Not much is known about Una, given she was instrumental in the Inner Circle failing to destroy the Central Circle, Una is worshipped rather as a goddess of truth, justice, and rebellion. Much of her religion is also unknown as the Night, Earth, Ice, and Fire Kim have completely dismantled any old writings and religions based around the goddess many aeons ago. However, despite this the Light Kin have kept secret various tablets containing all the information needed for Una, so that she may not be forgotten. Una is depicted as a beautiful but small dragon, not larger than ten feet, and has a variety of scales that are chromatic.

Of the Central Circle which was created after the establishment and stability of the Inner Circle came a second sect of divines meant for the same purpose of their older siblings. However, unlike the Inner Circle, these deities had more freedom as their tethered being had slightly  less impact on the physical plain so much so that it had created the first conflict of Gods known as the Inner Sanctum War. The Kin of Fire, Earth, Night, Light and Ice had waged war with Second Circles Kin of Wind, Sea, and the Great Kin created by the Almighty Sultefeign, which this very first war of dragons lasted for many generations until the first civilization led by the Great Kin was established; and the Sky Haven Tower was created as a throne above all others. When this war had ceased, the Great Kin had pushed the new gods to be recognized as important as the first as they should have been.

The First Born was Menheaf, Father of the Sea Kin, God of the Oceans, and is father to various sea beasts that aren't dragons, despite that title going to Gruno. Menheaf is said to be an entity of reason and justice, his form is depicted as being as wide as the Cynderice oceans. In truth, Menheaf is a simple deity who is a patron to sailors and fishers, he is considered to be the most honest and peaceful of the Central Circle. His most devout worshippers range from simple Dragon and Human fisherman to entire sea empires, from pirates to explorers, and thereof. His plain of existence is known as Kai-ākea, a vast ocean realm littered with plenty of archipelagos and mountain islands. Menheaf is depicted as a being who takes the form of a dragon made of water, shapeshifting to that of his worshippers comfort.

The Second Born was Gruno, Father of the Serpent's and Wyrms and other Sea Beasts related to Dragons, God of Rivers and Storms, Gruno was responsible for the accidental birth of the Wyrms who waged havoc after the Inner Sanctum War. He is the most brutal of the Central Circle and is a patron to rebels, thieves, and martyrs, and is considered a very powerful god of war. Gruno doesn't necessarily have his own plain of existence, instead the parallel spirit world of Cynderice is his prowling grounds where he can interact with his worshippers and other spirits.

The Third Born was Acheron, Father of the Other Beasts, God of Power and Magic, considered a war and death, Acheron is patron to monarchs and religious zealots, being depicted as a Zymphrom: a serpent the size of a star who's body is made up of nebula clouds. Being amongst the most powerful of the gods overall, Acheron is a powerful and strict deity that delves into the will and stamina of his worshippers, giving them unending and uncorruptible spirit. Many worship him for the chance to enter his plain of existence, simply known as the Solstice which is a plain of many moons and suns, filled with life and magic. Those who eventually make it to this afterlife will learn the secrets of the universe, but upon rebirth will inevitably lose this knowledge.

The Fourth Born was Hisa, Mother of the Wind Kin, Goddess of the Stars and Sky, Hisa is revered as an entity of change, being the fastest of the gods she can create powerful wind and solar storms. She is patron to couriers, explorers, and astrologists, and is responsible for the near annihilation of the Inner Circle demigods. The goddess is extremely gifted with utilizing cosmic powers and magics, giving her worshippers the ability to utilize these same powers and even providing them with Glint Stones: old comet shards that possess a mysterious energy. While Hisa, much like Gruno, has no plain of existence, she is said to keep her worshipper spirits on one of the thirty-seven moons of Cynderice.

The World of Cynderice Pyyria-2

The World of Cynderice is a vast world filled with all manners of creatures and artifacts, ruins and relics, and and things beyond the mortal plains. The Gods have been away from the living realms for some time whilst occasionally contacting their oracles and their most devout, kingdoms and empires rose and fell, species born anew and others extinct. Of these creatures are the mighty dragons,
